The volcanic landscape of the Tabernas Desert (the only desert in Europe) could not be more different from the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada mountains (the summits of El Mulhacen and El Veleta are above 3,400m).
The vibrant people of Andalucia are always ready to welcome a visitor. Extremely proud of their local produce, whether it be wine, olives or cheese they encourage you to taste and enjoy their local delicacies. People have said the area boasts 320 days of sunshine a year.
